PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The S3 | Slim Slab Saver™ is a versatile, completely customizable rigid frame and reinforcement system that reduces strain and risk of injury while handling large format slabs and other fragile materials. It is an ideal solution for preventing breakage during transport and installation of LFTM (large format thin material), gauged or thin porcelain slabs, and sintered stone such as Neolith® or Lapitec®. This combination of solid machined clamps and extruded rails minimizes flexing and twisting of the material. The proprietary extruded aluminum rails are specially designed to be lightweight while retaining extreme strength and rigidity to provide reinforcement without adding a lot of weight to the material.
AUTO MODELS include a powerful yet compact VMP750 Rail-Mounted Rechargeable Pump on each adjustable rail, allowing installers to focus on the task at hand without having to manually maintain vacuum pressure. The Auto system is faster, safer, and more convenient than manual pressure maintenance. The VMP750 pump features a built-in, rechargeable Lithium-ion battery that runs for up to 5 continuous hours on a single charge, and provides worry-free vacuum pressure for each rail in the system. An integrated LCD display shows the remaining power level, so you don’t have to wonder if the battery will last through another install. Filtration system in vacuum cups and release valves helps prevent dust and debris from impeding airflow and will prolong the life of the vacuum pump.
Non-marking 6” vacuum cups feature a concave design for fast attachment to bowed surfaces, and has FTS™ (flexible triple seal) technology which provides a secure, reliable hold, even on textured or leathered materials. Cups, clamps, and rails can be arranged in many configurations to reinforce uniquely shaped pieces. Easy-grasp knobs enable quick repositioning of every component in this system. High flow vacuum release valves for fast and hassle-free removal of product.
Each Rigid Cross-Brace clamp has an integrated “resting foot” that won’t scratch finished surfaces or flooring when material is flipped upside-down. The Horizontal Handle with Leveler Leg Kit (included on the 2-Rail and 3-Rail models) enables leveling pieces in an upright position for easier wall panel installation. Durable, UV-resistant foam grips provide a comfortable handle for safer, more ergonomic transport and placement of materials. The Kickstand Kit accessory (included with 3-Rail models) allows upright resting of material for easier and more ergonomic application of mortar or adhesive. Integrated PVC feet won’t scratch finished surfaces.
Rails extend from 63” - 126” (160 - 312 cm) to accommodate full slabs. Rigid Cross-Braces are 36” or 60” (91 cm or 152 cm), depending on which model you are using. Each adjustable rail is rated to handle up to 200 lb (90 kg)
