How can I check if my spindle bearings are okay?

Rotating the spindle shaft when the saw is off can give you an idea of your bearing life. If you notice any sort of grinding, crunching, or catching as you spin your spindle shaft may indicate your bearings need to be replaced. Please see our spindle repair kit for the G2

The G2 can cut almost any type of stone. However, for harder materials such as Natural Quartzite or Dekton, we recommend step cutting. Start by making the first pass with only the depth of the diamond on your blade (About ¼” deep). Then make deeper cuts to finish the cutting of the slab. This allows for thinner blades to stay in a track and not bend.
